A few people requested the knitted babe skirt pattern, so here it is!

Poppy’s Sassy Skirt Pattern

  1. Cast on 54 stitches onto one set of circular needles. Move half of the stitches onto the second circular needle. The beginning of the round should be at the beginning of one of the needles.

  17. Knit 1 row
  18. Repeat 16 & 17 2 more times, ending with a knit row.
  19. Ruffle: kf&b in every stitch for 2 rows.
  20. Bind off.
  21. Weave in ends.
  22. For belt, braid 3 strands of yarn in the desired length. Tie both ends so you have a little bit of fringe. Weave in and out of belt loop holes and tie in a bow.

I wrote this pattern from memory a few days after finishing the skirt, so I hope it’s accurate. Good luck and please send me pictures of your completed sassy skirt.

OTN, I’m working on a lacey shrug using Blue Heron beaded cotton/rayon in summer meadow. It’s an easy-peasy knit, the kind that someone tells you verbally how to make it and you can. After it’s done, I can seriously think about starting Orangina.
